Getting Started
How do I get setup with Small Package Shipping?
Getting setup is a quick and easy process. First Create an Account on our website. Once authorized to use our system you will have immediate access to our Small Package Shipping services. If you already have an account with us just navigate to the customer menu and under Small Package Shipping click "Create Shipment".
 
How do I create an account?
To create an account please click Create an Account. Follow the instructions and submit your information. Once you information has been submitted your account will be reviewed and authorized. Once authorization is complete you should receive an email indicating your account is active and ready to use.
 
Do I have to pay to create an account?
No. Creating an account costs nothing. We do not charge annual fees of any kind. The only thing you pay for is the shipping service you select!
 
Shipping
How do I cancel or void a shipment?
To CANCEL or VOID a shipment please Login. Go to the “My Shipments” menu and find the shipment you want to cancel. When you hover over the correct shipment a sub-menu will appear. At the bottom of the sub-menu select “Click here to VOID this shipment”. The shipment status will change from Live to Void.
 
What is the basic procedure for small package shipping?
Once you create an account with us and your account is authorized you will login to our website and click "Create a Shipment" under the Small Package Menu.
-Fill out the shipment details (Origin,Destination, Weight etc.).
-Choose a service: Overnight, Second Day, Ground etc.
-Print Label and adhere to package.
Once you create the shipment you may drop off your package at a FedEx drop box or you may have one of our reps schedule the package to be picked up by a FedEx representative. Once the package is picked up it will then be delivered to the specified address via the service you selected.
 
What can I ship?
Acceptable shipments are those that do not contain:

-any article classified as hazardous material, dangerous goods, prohibited or restricted by the DOT (Department of Transportation), TSA (Transportation Security Administration), IATA (International Air Transport Association), or any applicable government agency or other relevant organization.
-animals, articles of extraordinary value such as but not limited to bullion, currency, bearer form negotiable instruments, precious metals and stones; firearms, parts thereof and ammunition; human remains; pornography or illegal narcotics/drugs.

FedEx will not accept any shipment that contains the articles listed above, or that contains any articles that FedEx decides cannot be transported safely or legally, as stated in FedEx’s Tariff.
 
Can I insure my packages?
FedEx’s liability coverage is the actual cost of the shipment up to $100. To insure a package or letter worth more than $100 select yes to insure shipment on the first step of the Request New Shipment page and enter the dollar amount you would like to insure your package or letter up to in the insure amount box. The maximum insurable amount for packages is $24,999 and $500 for letters.
 
When can I create a shipment?
You can create a shipment any time and any day of the week. However pickups will only occur during the normal business days excluding holidays. Saturday Pickups are available but at an additional charge.
 
Can I edit a shipment once it's created?
No. You must VOID the shipment and recreate it with the correct information.
 
What is the max weight a package or letter can be?
A package can be up to 150 lbs and a letter can only be up to 1 lbs.
 
Do you offer COD shipping?
No.
 
Do you offer hazardous materials shipping?
Not currently but we will in the near future.
 
Services
What services are provided with Small Package Shipping?
There are several services offered for Domestic shipping:
- First Overnight: (Delivery next business day usually by 10:00 AM)
- Priority Overnight: (Delivery next business day usuually by 10:30 PM)
- Standard Overnight: (Delivery next business day usually before 3 PM)
- Second Day:(Within 2 Business Days)
- Express Saver: (Within 3 Business Days)
- Ground: (1-5 Business Days)
- Express Sat: (Saturday Delivery)
 
Why isn’t a service available when I get a rate?
Some services are not available in the originating or destination zip codes. If the service you want isn’t available pick one that is similar with transit times.
 
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! However we do not offer international rates on-line. You can either contact our International Sales at 386.671.4854 or epiper@macrotransport.com or fill out a quote request by clicking on this link: International Quote. Rates are provided on-line for Small Package Shipping in the United States including Hawaii and Alaska.
 
Can a letter envolope be sent ground?
No. Ground services are only available for packages.
 
Pickup and Delivery
How far in advance can we schedule a pickup?
You can schedule a pickup up to 9 days in advance.
Where is the nearest FedEx Drop Box or Drop off facility?
Please visit FedEx Locations to find the FedEx drop box or drop off facility nearest to you as well as the latest pickup time. Or contact FedEx at 1-800-Go-FedEx (1-800-463-3339).
How do I track a shipment?
Use our shipment tracking page or contact us at 386-671-4851 during our normal business hours 8-6 EST. For after hours assistance, please call FedEx at 1-800-Go-FedEx (1-800-463-3339).
How do I reschedule a pick up?
If a pickup needs to be rescheduled please contact us at 386-671-4851 during our normal business hours 8-6 EST.
Can a package be held at a FedEx location?
No.
 
Waybills and Shipping Labels
What is a waybill?
A waybill is the label that is generated when you create a shipment. You must have a waybill for each package you want to ship. After creating a shipment you have to print out the waybill label and affix it to the package. This waybill has specific information that tells FedEx how and where to ship the package. If you attach the incorrect waybill label your package could be delayed or lost.
Can I print waybill labels on 4" X 6" labels?
No.
What happens if I estimate the weight of my shipment or the dimensions?
If you supply the wrong weight or dimensions of your small package shipment any extra costs that are incurred by the carrier will be passed along to you. You will be responsible for any incurred charges due to inaccuracy of shipment details.
